Verizon’s Iphone?? Can we Say June 7th
The new iPhone hardware prototype was leaked last week, and the photo up there is just one of the many photos that Gizmodo blogger Jason Chen posted with a video of the new iPhone 4G in action as well. Analysts are estimating that Apple will launch a Verizon iPhone this year, just like they estimated this back in 2008. The Verizon iPhone may be possible in June, and even Verizon’s CEO has expressed interest in getting the iPhone. At the very least there will be a new iPhone 4G in 2010 because Apple likes to launch one each year.
The prototype Gizmodo acquires is legit because law enforcement went to a Gizmodo editor’s house and stole his server and computer and got their iPhone 4G prototype back from them. The iPhone 4G prototype is not a Verizon iPhone, but it’s just a prototype so the final iPhone 4G may be a Verizon iPhone with support for CDMA once it’s released. The iPhone 4G won’t work on a 4G network, 4G is just an acronym for fourth generation.
